This problem seems to be caused by the display adapter "Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corp. - WDDM 1.1". This adapter is part of the chipset, it isn't a separate videocard.
Sofar the only workaround is to change this adapter (in 'Device Manager') to "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter". This solves the problem, but the maximum resolutie drops a lot!

Some more info to complete my prev. post:
Display adapter "Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express chipset Family (Microsoft Corp.- WDDM 1.1" originally is intended for Windows 7 and hasn't been optimized for Windows 10. Be aware that maximum resolutie of "Microsoft Basic Display-adapter" is 1024x768, which is very low for a quality picture.
For those unfamiliar with changing the display adapter in Windows 10: Right-click on the Windows logo in the bottom left corner of the screen and choose 'Device Manager' from the menu. Then click 'Display adapters' and right-click 'Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series etc ..'. Then choose 'Update Driver' and 'Browse my computer for driver software'. Next: 'I want to choose from a list of drivers on my computer', and finally click 'Microsoft Basic Display-adapter'.
In some cases you will first get a black screen and it will be necessary to restart the computer
