- What . # of PT are you using? On what device? What OS . is it running? ie. win 7
- Is this bug happening on everything you try to watch? Movies and TV shows?
- Can you attach a screen shot? (If it's something that can be captured).
- Is your internet . stable?
- Did you try to run . as an Administrator?
- Did you try this on another device?
- Did you try this on another internet .?
- Did you try it on wifi and cable?
**The . are just for guidance, no need to answer all of them if not applicable, but the more detail you give us regarding this issue you're having, the easier it'll be for us to reproduce it and fix it! So start spilling...

If nividia go to nividia control panel. Then manage 3d settings, scroll to power management mode and choose prefer maximum performance. 1080p movies require a lot of GPU power.Also in control panel under power . choose High peformance.It may sound stupid but it works ,because GPU idles at lowest core speeds when you are at desktop and it wont detect movies as games to boost up core speeds.

Hello , i have had the same problem for months now every video lags and stutters (before everything was perfect) also 6.1 . on windows 10 intel i5. Anybody got a . yet??

My . is that you launch a game and when its in the menu screen mute the game and tab out back to the movie it seems to work for me windows 10 with nvidia gtx 1060 3gb

I have the same problem...When play video,it's lagging 2 much,it is so hard to watch .Idk what is the problem,i changed power management mode and still have the same problem...

I will just cope paste here my answer from another post:

In case movies are lagging even if you watch them from local disc - probably issue could be in the video card, i.e. its overheating or just need to update drivers to eliminate video codecs handling issues.
In case you select different torrents of the same movie and it still lagging - try to clear Cache folders located at C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PT + PTDesktop
