First of all i love what you people doing. (insert Louis-CK-Why-this-is-so-good-cinnabon.avi)

As with all things we love we tend to ask more and more from it until it collapses onto itself. So i'm going to do that, maybe it is a feature i did not figure out how to yet but wouldn't be great if my popcorn installed machine (game-monster-pro-3000) could serve streams to my self-proclaimed "smart" machines on my local net. such as phones, TVs via only a simple http page? Even iterating on that same idea it would be great if that stream had a sync . to watch together as a friends and such from seperate machines. I can already see the approving head nods from Finns.

Together mentally but separate physically. It is dream you guys.

Sounds like a dream :)
However, its difficult to implement. You need to integrate DLNA-server; for html page - open port to the lan and integrate some video player (Chromecast always have some issues). As for the lan sync - I'm not sure if its possible.
